The discipline committee should involve both a parent and student representative. The responsibilities of the committee should include the following: *designing locations for tornado drills *assisting with the drills at least twice a year *monitoring exit drills ex: fire drills *debriefing staff on evacuation procedures *coordinating school security *monitoring and reporting attendance to parents and administrators 3. Establishing procedures and practices for potentially hazardous events and locations.
